June ONLINE FNQ DAMA Information Session for Migration Agents and Immigration Lawyers
June 3 @ 11:30 am – 12:30 pm
Cairns Chamber of Commerce Migration Manager Geoff Heath invites Migration Agents and Immigration Lawyers to a free, online information session on the Far North Queensland Designated Area Migration Agreement, otherwise known as the FNQ DAMA.
The FNQ DAMA is a skilled migration program that is tailored to meet the unique workforce needs of Far North Queensland. It differs in many ways from standard skilled migration pathways – offering a greater range of occupations determined by local demand, along with various concessions – providing more flexibility and certainty for both employers and employees.
For over six years, the FNQ DAMA has been assisting business owners to access overseas workers and address critical skill shortages, where positions cannot be filled from the Australian labour market.
In this information session, Cairns Chamber of Commerce Migration Manager Geoff Heath will:
- Provide a brief general overview of the FNQ DAMA for any new agents / lawyers
- Provide updates on the FNQ DAMA
- Open the forum to a Q&A regarding any FNQ DAMA related issues / matters
