About the speaker
Rebecca Grover is the General Manager, CommBank Health at the Commonwealth Bank, where she leads the bank’s specialist healthcare business and its aspiration to be the leading financial partner to Australia’s health sector.
With more than 20 years’ experience across healthcare banking and financial services in Australia, New Zealand and the United Kingdom, Bec has built a reputation as a trusted advisor to medical professionals, practice owners, aged care providers and health sector operators and investors. Prior to joining CommBank, she held senior leadership roles at Macquarie Group, building deep expertise in healthcare lending, sector strategy and client partnerships.
Bec works closely with clients across general practice, specialist medicine, diagnostic imaging, aged care, vets, dentists, pharmacy and private hospitals – helping them navigate workforce pressures, regulatory change, technology adoption and growth opportunities. She is a frequent contributor to industry conversations, sharing insights and how different business models can support the future of healthcare delivery in Australia. This includes the evolving role of AI, capital requirements for growth and the sustainability of primary care.
Known for connecting strategy with execution and bringing clarity to complex decisions, Bec is a pragmatic, client-centric leader who is passionate about supporting the people and businesses that care for Australians. She is based in Melbourne.
