Business Resilience Event Series Half-Day Provide First Aid and CPR

This St John Ambulance accredited course is a half-day, face-to-face session covering nationally recognised first aid and CPR training -ideal for small business owners and teams. Gain the nationally recognised units of competency – HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation, HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support and HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid.
Why It Matters for Your Business
Under the Work Health and Safety Regulation (Clause 42), a person conducting a business or undertaking must ensure the provision of first aid equipment, that each worker has access to that equipment and to facilities for administering first aid, and that an adequate number of workers are trained to administer first aid. Yet smaller operators often lack the scale, time or budget to organise this independently, and first aid training is frequently deprioritised in the aftermath of a disaster, when cash flow and operational recovery take precedence. This is an opportunity to gain a first aid qualification for your workplace at a subsidised rate.
Entry Requirements/Prerequisites
- Must be able to perform CPR on a manikin on the floor for 2 minutes.
- Are required to bring a mobile device or tablet with internet connection.
- Register for a Unique Student Identifier (USI) – Further information will be provided upon registration.
- Photo ID.
- Registration is limited to 1 representative per business.
- Small and Family Businesses only.
- Participants must complete pre-learning and an online assessment before attending the face-to-face session.
