Stacie was born and raised in Cairns where she started her career in the accounting industry. After graduating with a Diploma of Business from James Cook University and Bachelor of Business in Human Resource Management from Central Queensland University Stacie had a change in her career path. Six years on Stacie is a Team Leader who supervises a team of administration professionals at Ergon Energy across the Tropical Coast region, coordinating systems and processes to ensure quality administrative and commercial outcomes to satisfy internal and external operational requirements. Stacie also takes on a proactive role during Disaster Responses coordinating Emergency Response Travel and supporting the Zone Response Team on the ground in the event of a disaster.
Stacie is known in the local region as a racing fashion enthusiast. Stacie’s journey into the racing fashion world started a few years back when she combined her love for horses and fashion. Having grown up on a rural property from a young age riding and competing on horses ignited her passion for horse racing and the thoroughbred industry. This passion for fashion sees Stacie as a committee member and fashion coordinator at the Gordonvale Turf Club as well as being a guest judge and local ambassador for the 2016 Cairns Amateurs Carnival, Mackay Beach Horse Races and Cairns Cup Carnival in 2017. Since competing in Fashions on the Field Stacie has been the winner of major events both on a local and national stage including being named the 2017 Queensland Myer Fashions on the Field winner.
