Born in Rockhampton, Ben was raised in Cairns from a young age and has grown up in the region. After completing his schooling, Ben decided to continue his studies at the James Cook University campus in Cairns, graduating earlier this year with a Bachelor of Laws. Having grown up in the region, Ben has forged strong ties with the community in both a business and personal sense.
Working at a property law firm while studying full-time, Ben has shown the commitment it takes to be able to succeed. Recently, Ben has been employed at MacDonnells Law to work in the area of Government law. Currently working in the capacity of a Law Graduate, Ben will be Admitted in early June as a Lawyer.
Outside of his work commitments, Ben is a very active person who enjoys being a part of several competitive sports teams around Cairns.
Ben has joined the Emerging Leaders Program with the hopes of advancing his leadership and communication skills and to provide him with a platform from which he can meet other likeminded people in the region.
