The Cairns Chamber of Commerce James Cook University BEX Awards are on again in 2021 continuing to recognise excellence in the business community.
Nominations opened yesterday, on Thursday 22 July and business professionals are encouraged to submit nominations.
People can self-nominate, and we encourage the community to nominate and someone who they feel is an excellent businessperson.
The BEX awards is a process of personal growth by reflecting on areas such as past challenges and accomplishments, professional development and excellence, community contribution and innovation.
“Running a business is not easy and can feel lonely at times, one of the most rewarding aspect is when your hard work is recognised by your customer or suppliers. One of the core values in our business is to support local business/customers that supports us by being honest and transparent in all our dealings. It was a special moment when we won the Bex award as it’s also a recognition of our core values. ” Commented Alan Ren owner of Audi Centre Cairns and winner of the 2019 Emerging Leader Award.
James Cook University are again naming rights sponsors of this prestigious event and have been since the inception of the awards in 2017.
