The Cairns Chamber of Commerce is calling for nominations to fill upcoming vacant management committee positions. An election for these positions will be held at the AGM on Tuesday 28 March 2023, 10.15am, at the Pullman Reef Hotel Casino.
Upcoming Management Committee Positions
Nominations are invited from current financial members for the following management committee positions:
- President (1 position available)
- Vice President (1 position available)
- Committee Member (2 positions available)
Retiring Management Committee Members
As per the constitution, the President and one half of the remaining Management Committee must retire annually at the AGM.
The management committee members retiring at the 2023 Annual General Meeting are:
- SELITA, ENVER (President) - Optus Business Centre FNQ
- O'HARA, JESSE (Vice President) - TAFE Queensland
- ALLEN, VANESSA (Committee Member) - ADhesive
- NYE, DAVID (Committee Member) - Cairns Airport
Retiring management committee members are eligible for re-election.

Your nomination must include:
- A completed Nomination & Nominee's Details Form
- A Professional Headshot of the Nominee
Nominations must be received by the secretary by no later than 10:15am on Monday 13 March 2023.

Eligibility to Nominate
To be eligible for nomination, you must be a current financial member of the Cairns Chamber of Commerce.
A member is not entitled to nominate for a management committee position if their annual subscription is in arrears two (2) days prior to the date of the AGM.
