Thursday, 6 Nov 2025
7:30 am - 11:30 am
Pullman Reef Hotel Casino

Event Description
When a disaster strikes, how and what you communicate next can help make all the difference.

Effective media engagement builds trust, aids recovery outcomes and ensures your business gets back to trading as quickly as possible. On the other hand, a poorly handled media appearance can lead to misinformation, uncertainty, and long-term reputational or economic damage.

In this workshop, Regional Media Training will cover:
- How to navigate the media landscape and treat it as a stakeholder in times of disaster
- Techniques to help you deliver calm, credible, and consistent messages under pressure
- How to stay in control of interviews and manage challenging questions
- The importance of preparation and a prompt response
- How to craft disaster-specific holding statements and key messages
- How to develop a Disaster PR Plan that covers all marketing channels

Spots are limited, so book now to avoid missing out!
