Join us at our November Christmas Luncheon: Eat, laugh and make a difference!

Be entertained by one of Australia’s sharpest comics whilst supporting a local charity at the same time!

The Cause

This year we are supporting Centacare with their School Savvy ‘Pack a Pencil Case’ project. The School Savvy ‘Pack a Pencil Case’ project is an opportunity for members to contribute by collecting school supplies in preparation for next year’s School Savvy pop up shop.

School Savvy is a “pop up” concept store by Centacare which facilitates access to school uniforms and school supplies for children who are financially disadvantaged, in the busy back to school period at the start of the school year.

What does this mean for you?

Attendees are to bring with them a pencil case with basic stationery supplies appropriate to either a primary or high school student. If you are time poor we will be taking cash donations on the day. The funds raised will go towards the purchase additional school supplies.

We will have a special performance from 3MPride. A group of talented young rappers from the “M” suburbs of Cairns West – Manoora, Manunda and Mooroobool.
