SUMMARY:Essential Workplace First Aid & CPR Training | For Small Business
DESCRIPTION:Give your team the skills to respond confidently in an emergency. This St John Ambulance accredited course is a half-day\, face-to-face session covering nationally recognised first aid and CPR training -ideal for small business owners and teams. Gain the nationally recognised units of competency – HLTAID009 – Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation\, HLTAID010 – Provide Basic Emergency Life Support and HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid. \n\n\n\nWhy It Matters for Your Business\n\n\n\nUnder the Work Health and Safety Regulation (Clause 42)\, a person conducting a business or undertaking must ensure the provision of first aid equipment\, that each worker has access to that equipment and to facilities for administering first aid\, and that an adequate number of workers are trained to administer first aid. Yet smaller operators often lack the scale\, time or budget to organise this independently\, and first aid training is frequently deprioritised in the aftermath of a disaster\, when cash flow and operational recovery take precedence. This is an opportunity to gain a first aid qualification for your workplace at a subsidised rate. \n\n\n\nEntry Requirements/Prerequisites\n\n\n\n\nMust be able to perform CPR on a manikin on the floor for 2 minutes.\n\n\n\nAre required to bring a mobile device or tablet with internet connection.\n\n\n\nRegister for a Unique Student Identifier (USI) – Create your USI – Unique Student Identifier\n\n\n\nPhoto ID.\n\n\n\nRegistration is limited to 1 representative per business.\n\n\n\nSmall and Family Businesses only.\n\n\n\nParticipants must complete pre-learning and an online assessment before attending the face-to-face session.
