Chrissy Leong from WorkCover Queensland will help you understand:

1. What is WorkCover - what is a Statutory claim, a Common Law claim and the benefits of early to work
2. Your insurance obligations – your policy, who is covered, how and why
3. Your premium - how it is calculated, what impacts it, how to reduce it, renewal season 
4. How to maintain a safe work environment - injury prevention, trends and safe work practices
5. What happens when someone gets injured – claims and the determination process

Although we hope you never have a claim on your policy, it is important that you know what to do if one arises.

This workshop is suitable for small to medium business owners, who have not had a WorkCover claim recently or who have never had a WorkCover claim.
