Business assistance finder: Use our coronavirus (COVID-19) business assistance finder to learn what support you may be eligible for.
JobKeeper payment: You may be eligible for an Australian Government subsidy to continue paying your employees. Sole traders may also be eligible.
Speak with someone: Phone the Small Business Hotline on 1300 654 687 (available 24/7) or take the business impact survey so they can link you with relevant support.
CCIQ Employer Assistance Support: The Employer Assistance Helpline is staffed by CCIQ experienced HR advisors. If you have any questions about how to respond to the Coronavirus, the team is there to help. Please give us a call on 1300 135 822. All CCIQ members have unlimited access to the HR Helpline.
Commercial tenancies: Relief measures for commercial tenants and landlords. A mandatory code of conduct has been developed by National Cabinet.

PAYG cashflow injection: The Government is providing temporary cash flow support to small and medium businesses and not-for-profit organisations that employ staff during the economic downturn associated with the coronavirus.
Coronavirus SME Guarantee Scheme: The Coronavirus SME Guarantee Scheme will provide support for these businesses. Under the Scheme, the Government will provide a guarantee of 50 per cent to small and medium enterprise (SME) lenders for new unsecured loans to be used for working capital.
Waiver of Fees and Charges for Tourism and Hospitality Providers: There has been numerous fees and charges relief implemented to assist the tourism and hospitality industries. More information available here.
Special assistance for affected regions, communities and industries: $1 billion has been set aside to support regions and communities most significantly affected by the Coronavirus. More information available here.
Concessional Loans (Job Support): The Queensland Government is helping Queensland businesses and non-profit organisations financially affected by COVID-19 to retain employees and maintain their operations. More information available here.
Loans from Non-Banks: The Government, Reserve Bank of Australia and the Australian Prudential Regulation Authority have taken coordinated action to support the flow of credit in the Australian economy, in particular for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
Cairns Regional Council Economic Response and Recovery Sub-Committee (ERRSC): Business leaders in Cairns have developed a suite of 10 key initiatives for consideration by Government (Federal, State and Local) in response to the unfolding economic effects from the spread of Covid-19.
