Born in Serbia, although grew up in Gordonvale, I consider myself to be a true Cairns Local. Growing up in Cairns, I have had the pleasure to experience all the wonders that Far North Queensland has to offer, and I truly believe that Cairns is one of the best towns in the world.
In 2010 I moved to Brisbane where I completed my Business Degree with a double major in Human Recourses and Marketing at Griffith University. After completing university, I came to the realisation that I wanted to become an Events Coordinator, which lead me to completing a Diploma in events Management at Tafe North. Since then I have worked for the Cairns Chamber of Commerce at an Events Coordinator and at the Cairns Convention Centre as an Events Assistant. I pride myself in being organised and efficient.
Nowadays I work for QLD Health as an OHS advisor. My passion for coordinating events continues through the Cairns Young Chamber and I am truly gratefully to be part of a group of like-minded individuals who strive to make a difference for young professionals in Cairns. I joined the Cairns Young Chamber because I wanted to be part of a greater movement and also contribute my coordinating expertise to something that will benefit all young professionals in Cairns.
10 years from now I will have my own events company with 50 + contract staff and a great reputation for delivering high-quality events.
