Stephanie Thomas

CYC Committee

Stephanie Thomas is the Business Development Manager with TAFE Queensland North (TQN) and is passionate about building organisational capability and strengthening community prosperity across the region through access to high quality vocational education and training.

Stephanie is originally from Brisbane and relocated to Cairns in 2009. She completed a Bachelor of Psychological Science (Honours) at University of Queensland and worked in the youth sector for a number of years upon arriving in North Queensland.

Since commencing with TQN in 2011, Stephanie has worked in Marketing and Business Development, and more recently, as the Business Manager of Great Barrier Reef International Marine College, TQN.

Having involvement with Cairns Chamber of Commerce over recent years, Stephanie believes our youth and future leaders must have a strong voice and be an active contributor in discussions around the direction of our region. With the resurgence of the CYC Committee as a key driver in the Cairns business community, Stephanie is excited to embrace the opportunities that being a part of this committee will present.
