The Cooperative Research Centres (CRC) programThe CRC program links researchers with industry to share knowledge on environmental management and ecologically sustainable development. The program also has industry-specific education programs.Department of Education, Science and Training
Energy Efficiency OpportunitiesThe EEO Program is mandatory for business that use large amounts of energy, however smaller businesses are also encouraged to apply to improve their energy efficiency.Department of Industry, Tourism and Resources
Energy grants credits scheme (ECGS)

On 1 July 2006, EGCS was largely replaced by fuel tax credits. Businesses using alternative fuels may still be eligible for a fuel grant under EGCS for fuel purchased before 1 July 2010.

EGCS provides grants to businesses that use particular fuels for specified activities.

Environmental Management Systems (EMS) - Pathways to Sustainable AgricultureThis program funds regions and industries that demonstrate leadership in sustainable or environmental practices in agriculture.Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry

Ethanol Production Grants (EPG)

Eligible Australian ethanol producers can apply for funding under the EPG program that supports the use of biofuels in transport.AusIndustry
Ethanol Distribution Program (EDP)The EDP helps retail service stations offset costs to install or convert infrastructure to supply 10 per cent ethanol blended petrol.AusIndustry
Fuel tax credits

Eligible businesses can register and claim for fuel tax credits when using particular fuels for specified activities.

If you were a business claiming under the Energy Grants Credit Scheme (EGCS) and were registered for GST, you are automatically registered for fuel tax credits.

Low Emissions Technology Demonstration Fund (LETDF)

LETDF funds projects that demonstrate the commercial potential of new energy technologies or processes to deliver long term greenhouse gas emission reductions.AusIndustry

Renewable Energy Development Initiative (REDI)
